Information Services
Web Development
DDM Ascend has developed a host of web applications directed at helping our customers better manage healthcare programs.
Whether the goal is for centralizing, organizing, or compiling information, web-solutions are the most effective methods of communicating to and with large or disbursed audiences. Our web solutions provide real time functionality and secure access to critical data and comprehensive reports, with all access protected according to specific personnel needs and levels of authorization. We develop customized and interactive web-solutions to provide our customers with instantaneous and secure access to manage their programs, including

  • Informational resource sites
  • Transition, utilization review, and HCBS reporting sites
  • Training and provider audit sites

Resource Sites
We customize comprehensive and exhaustive resource sites for use by providers, caregivers, members, and families. Our web applications meet our customer’s exact and specialized needs, such as the interactive housing site we designed for the State of Tennessee, www.housingwithinreach.org. This site provides wide-ranging and in-depth information about the quality, accessibility, and affordability of housing within Tennessee for residents with disabilities. The site allows remote administrators the capability to modify relevant content through an administrative portal. Administrators of this site have the ability to update the majority of the content on the site without having knowledge of html or web-design or any additional programming assistance, so that areas such as calendars of events, available housing options, and community support resources are easily updated.

Transition, UR, and HCBS Web Reporting Sites
We design a number of customized web tools for nursing facility and institutional transition services, utilization review, and HCBS monitoring. One of our applications, Interactive Uniform Cost Reporting Instruments (UCRI), collects cost data associated with services and compares those data to level of need. This permits analyses for matching payment with level of need decisions. Another specialized design, our Interactive Web-Score Reporting Sites, provides instantaneous access to the latest assessment and assessment history information for all authorized personnel across service areas. These include customized trending reports that give our customers the capability to analyze and trend composite data as well as a variety of others variables, such as region-specific, provider-specific, and member-specific areas of interest.

Web Training Sites
When payers need to provide training to large audiences, it can be a challenging and expensive undertaking. Our customized training websites offer easy accessibility and cost effective training solutions for broad and geographically dispersed audiences. Payers can track, trend, and collect specialized data about their trainee’s knowledge and abilities. When staff members utilize training websites, payers are provided comprehensive information about regional skill domain variables, pinpointing areas requiring procedure changes or more extensive training. Well-trained clinicians and other caregivers deliver better quality healthcare and improved outcomes.

Provider Audit and Inspection Sites
We develop customized inspection sites that enable tracking, trending, and reporting about specific areas of performance or quality. For example, we developed a specialized web based application for provider housing inspections and audits. This site is a repository of information regarding agencies’ abilities to provide safe home environments for service recipients. The website tracks scheduling and extensive licensure and inspection criteria, and generates reports on all housing inspections needed and conducted by the oversight agency. Housing audits are completed and up-loaded on palm pilots into our database for real time access and analysis, tracking, and reporting capabilities. This site maintains the integrity of data within one system, giving auditors the ability to instantaneously access inspection history and provide safer home environments for service recipients.
