DDM Ascend contracts with the State of Virginia to conduct comprehensive clinical assessments on individuals who have mental illness, mental retardation, or developmental disabilities. We utilize *Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs), Qualified Mental Retardation Professionals (QMRPs), Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Professional Counselors across the state to conduct the on-site evaluations. All evaluators are fully credentialed and trained prior to performing these assessment services.
If an individual has a mental retardation diagnosis, sometimes intelligence testing may be required. We utilize professionals who have the following credentials: *Licensed Psychologists and Licensed Professional Counselors to perform the I.Q. testing portion of the assessment.
