DDM Ascend has several contracts with the State of Tennessee to conduct comprehensive and specialized clinical evaluations on individuals who have mental illness, mental retardation, and/or developmental disabilities. We utilize *Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs), Qualified Mental Retardation Professionals (QMRPs), Registered Nurses, Licensed Psychologists, Senior Licensed Psychological Examiners, and Licensed Psychological Examiners across the state to perform the on-site clinical evaluations. All evaluators are fully credentialed and trained prior to conducting assessments.
When an individual has a diagnosis of mental retardation, sometimes intelligence testing may be required. We utilize professionals who have the following credentials: *Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Psychological Examiners and Senior Licensed Psychological Examiners to perform the I.Q. testing portion of the assessment.
